Minerals Guide : Chromium

Chromium is involved in the metabolism of glucose which is needed for production of energy for the body and is vital in the synthesis of cholesterolm fats and proteins.
It helps in the utilization of insulin which in turn will halp maintain blood sugar level and also is good for pregnant mothers as it helps them to maintain this balanced sugar level.

A deficiency in Chromium can lead to anxiety, fatigue, intolerance to glucose and also inefficient metabolism of amino acids.

It can be normally found in beer, cheese, meat, dried beans, chicken, corn oil and adiry products. ( Please dont take this excuse to drink alcohol excessive! )
