Food Preparation : Consumption of Raw food stuff

We are referring to vegetables and plant products in this case of raw foods. When choosing such items, make sure to select those that are at the peak of their ripeness and aviod choosing those that are either under or over riped because at that stage they would ahve lost most of their valuable nutrients. Make sure to also select organic produced plant products. ( those that are grown without the use of artificial add-ons like insecticides, herbicides etc )

When preparing your plan products, remember NOT to over wash them as their nutrients can also be lost due to "over washing". Also if insecticides and related products were used on them, remember to wash throughly with the use of nontoxic rinising products which should be sold at any health-food store.

Cooking should be avoided if possible when consuming such foods as heat could significantly destory ot toxify your food. But if cooking is really needed, remember not to over cook them and the best approach would be steaming them instead of frying.
