Amino Acids Guide - Aspartic Acid

Sometimes you may see Carnitine classified as one of the Vitamin B complexes but sometimes as an Amino Acid. This is because it has substances in it that relates to the Vitamin Bs but also a chemical structure related to that of an Amino Acid......

Unlike other Amino Acids, Carnitine is used to transport long-chained fatty acids to be burned and produce energy. It can be used to clear up the fatty deposits in the heart, liver and sketetal muscles and also good for treating chronic fatigue syndrome.

This Amino Acid can be manufactured in the body if you provide it with enough amounts of viatmin B1, B6, Iron and Lysine and Methionine.

Also note that, vegetable protein lack carnitine and thus vegetarians should consider consuming a Carnitine supplements or eat grains that have been fortified with Lysine.
